ORDINANCE NO. 915-P AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A PERMIT UNDER SECTION 18-A-3 OF ORDINANCE NO. 915, "PIPELINE TRANSPORTATION, II BEING CHAPTER 18-A OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF LA PORTE, TEXAS; AND APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF ENTERPRISE PETROCHEMICAL COMPANY AND HERCULES INCORPORATED, DATED NOVEMBER 20, 1979, TO CONSTRUCT A FOUR-INCH (4") NOMINAL DIAMETER PETROLEUM AND OTHER HYDROCARBON BY-PRODUCTS PIPELINE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LA PORTE: Section l. The City Commission of the City of La Porte has received an application dated November 20, 1979, from Enterprise Petrochemical Company and Hercules Incorporated, requesting a . permi t under Section 18-A-3 of Ordinance No. 915, being Chapter 18-A of the Code of Ordinances of the City of La Porte, to con- struct a four-inch (4") nominal diameter petroleum and other hydrocarbon by-products pipeline crossing the City of La Porte, all as shown on said application. The application of Enterprise Petrochemical Company and Hercules Incorporated has been reviewed by the City's Director of Public Works, who has found that said application meets all requirements of said Ordinance No. 915, and has recommended its approval. . Section 2. The City Commission of the City of La Porte hereby approves the application of Enterprise Petrochemical Com- pany and Hercules Incorporated, dated November 20, 1979, and this Ordinance shall constitute a permit to Enterprise Petro- chemical Company and Hercules Incorporated to lay and construct said pipeline within the City of La Porte, all in conformance with the requirements of said Ordinance No. 915. Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval. PASSED AND APPROVED, this 6th day of February, 1980. CITY OF LA .' By
