ORDINANCE NO. 915-Q
AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A PERMIT UNDER SECTION 18-A-3 OF ORDINANCE
NO. 915, "PIPELINE TRANSPORTATION," BEING CHAPTER 18-A OF THE
CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF LA PORTE, TEXAS; AND APPROVING
THE APPLICATION OF AIR PRODUCTS AND CHEMICALS, INC., TO CONSTRUCT
A TEN-INCH (10") CARBON DIOXIDE GAS PIPELINE; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LA PORTE:
Section 1. The City Council of the City of La Porte has
received an application dated July 14, 1980, from Air Products
and Chemicals, Inc., requesting a permit under Section 18-A-3
of Ordinance No. 915, being Chapter 18-A of the Code of Ordinances
of the City of La Porte, to construct a ten-inch (10") nominal
diameter carbon dioxide gas pipeline crossing the City of La Porte,
all as shown on said application. The application of Air Products
and Chemicals, Inc., has been reviewed by the City's Director of
Public Works, who has found that said application meets all re-
quirements of said Ordinance No. 915, and has recommended its
approval.
Section 2. The City Council of the City of La Porte hereby
approves the application of Air Products and Chemicals, Inc.,
dated July 14, 1980, and this Ordinance shall constitute a permit
to Air Products and Chemicals, Inc., to lay and construct said
pipeline within the City of La Porte, all in conformance with the
requirements of said Ordinance No. 915.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval.
PASSED AND APPROVED, this 15th day of October, 1980.
