ORDINANCE NO. 9l5-T-.Ol
AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A PERMIT UNDER SECTION l8-A-3 OF ORDINANCE
NO. 915, "PIPELINE TRANSPORTATION," BEING CHAPTER l8-A OF THE
CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF LA PORTE, TEXAS; AND APPROVING
THE APPLICATION OF ENTERPRISE PRODUCTS COMPANY, TO EXTEND TWO
SIX-INCH (6"): .PIFE:J:,INES; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LA PORTE:
Section 1. The City Council of the City of La Porte has
received an application dated February 4, 1983, from Enterprise
Products Company, requesting a permit under Section l8-A-3 of
Ordinance No. 9l5, being Chapter l8-A of the Code of Ordinances
of the Ci ty of La Porte, to extend two .six-inch (6") nominal
diameter pipelines crossing the City of La Porte, all as shown
on said application. The application of Enterprise Products
Company, has been reviewed by the City's Director of Public
Works, who has found that said application meets all require-
ments of said Ordinance No. 915, and has recommended its ap-
proval.
Section 2. The City Council of the City of La Porte hereby
approves the application of Enterprise Products Company, dated
February 4, 1983, and this Ordinance shall constitute a permit
to Enterprise Products Company, to lay and construct said pipe-
line extension within the City of La Porte, all in conformance
with the requirements of said Ordinance No. 915.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval.
PASSED AND APPROVED, this 16th day of February, 1983.
