RESOLUTION NO. 69- 10
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE GRANTING OF A BUILDING PERMIT TO
JOE CAMP, INC.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LA PORTE,
TEXAS, THAT:
WHEREAS, JOE CAMP, INC., b~gan preparation of plans
and specifications for a new Ford dealership facility, several
years before the adoption of the Southern Standard Building
Code by the City Commission of the City of La Porte; and
WHEREAS, the previously approved plans and specifica-
tions for said structures provided for a design wind pressure
load, less than that required by the subsequently adopted
Southern Standard Buildi~g Code; and
WHEREAS, the design of such structures fully met the
requirements of the City of La Porte at the time said structures
were in the design process:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY.OF LA PORTE, TEXAS:
Section 1. That the City of La Porte grant a
buildi~g permit to JOE CAMP, INC., based upon the plans and
specifications previously submitted to the City of La Porte
by JOE CAMP, INC., which plans and specifications fully meet
the requirements of the City of La Porte as said requirements
existed at the 'time of the preparation of said plans and
specifications.
PASSED and APPROVED, this the 27th day of October,
A.D. 1969.
