RESOLUTION NO. 69- 11
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A STUDY OF THE WIND LOADS REQUIREMENT
OF SECTION 1205 OF THE SOUTHERN STANDARD BUILDING CODE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LA PORTE,
TEXAS, THAT:
Section 1. The City Administrator and the City
Building Inspector are hereby directed to conduct a study,
and report the results of same to the City Commission at the
earliest possible date, of the wind loads requirement con-
tained in Section 1205 of the Southern Standard Building Code,
heretofore adopted by the City Commission of the City of
La Porte as to the applicability of the des~gned wind pressure
requirements contained in said Code, to future construction in
the City of La Porte.
PASSED and APPROVED, this the 27th day of October,
A.D. 1969.
