COUNTY OF HARRIS X
EASEMENT
That HAPPY HARBOR METHODIST HOME, INC., a non-profit
Texas corporation, of Harris County, Texas, for and in considera=
tion of the sum of One Dollar ($1,00) cash to it in hand paid by
the CITY OF LA PORTE, a municipal corporation, receipt of which
is acknowledged, and the further consideration of the benefits
to be derived by it on account of the construction, reconstruction
and maintenance by the CITY OF LA PORTE, of the said storm sewer
in and through its certain premises hereinafter described, does
hereby give and grant to the said CITY OF LA PORTE, a municipal
corporation, of Harris County, Texas, the right to construct,
reconstruct and perpetually maintain a storm sewer line, together
with all necessary laterals in, upon and across the following
described property, to -wits
BEGINNING at a 5/8" iron rod found for the Northwest
corner of Lot Three (3), Bay Shore Block, Bay Shore
Park Subdivision, Harris County, Texas, according to
the map thereof recorded in Volume 10, Page 22,•of the
Map Records of Harris County, Texas,
THENCE, S510081E along the North line of Lot Three (3)
a distance of 269 feet, more or less, to the shoreline
of Galveston Bay;
THENCE, S36052'W, a distance of 12 feet to a point for
corner;
THENCE, N510081W, following a line 12 feet South of and
parallel to the North line of said Lot Three (3), a
distance of 267 feet, more or less, to a point in the
East right-of-way line of Bayshore Drive;
THENCE, in a Northerly direction along the East right-
of-way line of Bayshore Drive a distance of 12 feet,
more or less, to the POINT OF BEGINNING.

To have and to hold the same perpetually to the CITY
OF LA PORTE and its successors, together with the right and co
privilege at any and all times to enter said premises, or any
part thereof, for the purpose of constructing, reconstructing CIL
and maintaining said sewer, and for making connections there- Cn

with; all upon the conditions that the CITY OF LA PORTE will at C0
all times, after doing any work in connection with the construc-
tion, reconstruction or repair of said sewer, or any lateral
thereof, restore said premises to the condition in which same
were found before such work was undertaken, and that in the use
of said rights and privileges herein granted the CITY OF LA PORTE
will not create a nuisance or do any act that will be detri-
mental to said premises.
