KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS

That JACOBSON COMPANIES ("Grantor"),, for and in consideration to Ten and no/100
Dollars ($10.00) and other4good and valuable consideration paid by the CITY OF LA
PORTE ("Grantee"), a Municipal Corporation, the receipt and sufficiency of which is
hereby acknowledged and confessed, have this day GRANTED, BARGAINED, SOLD
AND. CONVEYED and by these presents do GRANT; SELL AND CONVEY unto said
GRANTEE, and to its successors and assigns the perpetual right, privilege and
easement of ingress and egress for access to Grantee's water service appurtenances
and being more particularly described on Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part
hereof for all purposes.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the above described easement, together with all and singular
the rights and appurtenances thereto in anywise belonging unto said GRANTEE, and its
successors or assigns, in accordance with the terms and conditions hereinabove set
forth. The GRANTOR does hereby bind itself, its6successors or assigns to WARRANT
AND FOREVER DEFEND, all and singular the said easement unto the GRANTEE, its
successors or assigns, against every person whomsoever lawfully claiming or to claim
the same or any part thereof.

60 9 WADE ROADWAY EASEMENT
Being a 60 foot wide roadviay easement over and across that
certain tract of land as conveyed to E. I. Du Pont de
Nemours and Company by St. Joe Paper Company under
instrument recorded in Volume 7034, at Page 10 of the
Harris County Deed Records, and that certain 250 feet wide
easement granted to Houston Lighting and Power Company by
instrument recorded in Volume 8437, Page 88 of the Harris
County Deed Records, said easement being more particularly
,
described as follows:
Commencing at the most southerly Southwest corner of a
certain 35.36 acre tract of land surveyed for Jacobson
Comparriez out of, thelabove described tract, a 5/8" iron rod
found for corner; said point being an angle point in the
aforementioned 250 wide Houston Lighting and Power Company
easement; said point having Du Pont La Porte Plant
Coordinates N 1616.85 and W 9358.921
Thence, North 89 degrees 50 minutes 19 seconds East,
coincident with the South boundary line of the said
Jacobson 35.36 acre tract and the North boundary line of
the Houston Lighting and Power Company 250 feet wide
easement, a distance of 282.41 feet to a 5/8 inch -iron rod
with cap set for the Northwest corner of this 60 feet wide
eaement and the POINT OF BEGINNING; said point having Du
Pont La Porte Plant Coordinates N 1617.65 and W 9076.52.
Thence; continuing North 89 degrees 50 minutes 19 seconds
East, coincident with the South boundary line %0 the said
Jacobson 35.36 acre tract and the North boundary line of
the Houston Lighting and Power Company 250 feet wide
easement, a distance of 64.03 feet to a 6/8 inch iron rod
with cap set for the Northeast corner of this 60 feet wide
eaement; said point having Du Pont La Porte Plant
Coordinates N 1617.83 and W 9012.48.

distance of 266.83 feed, to a 5/8 inch iron rod with cap
found for the Northwest corner a 60 feet wide easement
surveyed off the West end of Dana Industries call 10.0846
acre tract, said point having Du Pont La Porte Plant
Coordinates N 1367.54 and W 9104.970
Thence, South 89 degrees 50 minutes 19 seconds West,
coincident with the North line of Dana Industries call
10.0846 acre tract, the South boundary line of the
aforementioned Houston Lighting and Power Company 250 feet
wide easement and the South boundary line of the
aforementioned Du Pont property; a distance of 64.03 feet
to a 1/2 inch iron rod found for the Southwest corner of
this 60 feet wide easement, said point having Du Pont La
Porte Plant Coordinates N 1367.36 and W 9169.000
THENCE, _North 2U degrees 16.minutes 5U seconds East, a
distance of 266.83 feet RETURNING TO THE POINT OFV
BEGINNING.
Said easement containing 0.3675 acres oY land, more or
less.
