ORDINANeE NO. 1047 AN ORDINANeE MAKING APPROPRIATIONS FOR SUPPORT OF THE GOVERNMENT OF THE eITY OF LA PORTE, TEXAS, FOR THE FISeAL YEAR BEGINNING oeTOBER 1, 1976, AND ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 1977, AND LEVYING A TAX OF $ .92 ON EAeH $100.00 OF ASSESSED VALUE OF ALL REAL AND PER- SONAL PROPERTY LOCATED WITHIN SAID eITY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THEeITY eOMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LA PORTE, TEXAS: Section 1. For the purpose of providing a budget for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 1976, and ending September 30, 1977, an Ad Valorem Tax of $ .92 on each $100.00 of assessed value of all real and person~l property located within the eity of La Porte is hereby levied and such tax shall be collected under and by the authQrity of this eity and of the State of Texas, and the sums set forth below be and the same are hereby appropriated for the maintenance, operation and improvement ,of the Government of the eity of La Porte, and the same shall be strictly applied for the several purposes and,in the respective amounts hereinafter specified. Section 2. That the amounts appropriated and the purposes for which the same shall be spent be as follows: Administration Airport eivil Defense Fire Department Inspections & Permits Municipal eourt ", ' .
