ORDINANCE NO. 1101

AN ORDINANCE RE-NAMING THE LA PORTE SOUTHS IDE CIVIC CENTER
THE "EVELYN KENNEDY CIVIC CENTER," AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE HEREOF.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LA PORTE:
Section 1. The La Porte Souths ide Civic Center is hereby
re-named the "Evelyn Kennedy Civic Center," in honor of Mrs.
Evelyn Kennedy upon her retirement, and in recognition of
her many years of faithful service to the City of La Porte
and to the La Porte-Bayshore Neighborhood Centers Association.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall be effective immediately

upon its passage and approval.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 19th day of December, 1977.
