AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING AND CLOSING THE ALLEY
LYING WITHIN BLOCK EIGHT HUNDRED TWENTY-THREE (823) IN THE
TOWN OF LA PORTE, HARRIS COUNTY, TEXAS.
WHEREAS, the said alley in Block Eight Hundred Twenty-
three (823) has never been opened or used as a public thorough-
fare, and the public utilities now making use of such alley
have all given their written consent for its closing; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of La Porte has
determined and does hereby find, determine and declare that
the said alley is not suitable, needed, or beneficial to the
public as a public alley, and should be vacated, abandoned and
permanently closed:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF LA PORTE THAT:
Section 1. The alley located in Block Eight Hundred
Twenty-three (823) of the TOWN OF LA PORTE, Harris County,
Texas, is hereby permanently vacated, abandoned and closed by
the City of La Porte.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage and approval.
