ORDINANCE NO. 1084

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 12, ARTICLE III, "GARBAGE
AND TRASH," OF. THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF
LA PORTE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
LA PORTE:
Section 1. Sec. 12-41, Sub-paragraph (a), of
Article III, Chapter 12, of the Code of Ordinances of the
City of La Porte is hereby amended, to hereafter read as
follows, to-wit:

"(a) There shall be charged, assessed and collected,
for garbage, trash and rubbish collection by the city
from residential dwelling units, which term shall be
construed to include duplex units, individual apart-
ment units, and individual trailer units at trailer
courts, the sum of Three dollars and No
cents ($3.00 ) per unit per month."
Section 2. This Ordinance shall be effective immediately
upon its passage and approval. The rates herein provided
shall be effective for all service from and after August 1,
1977.
