RESOLUTION NO. 31 - 64
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City ~f La Porte has
authorized the purchase of a new air conditioner from the Al Braun
Company of Bay town, Texas; and, whereas, such air conditioner has
been installed and is in good working condition and the City Commis-
sion so finds.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission of the City of
La Porte that the City shall issue its "Special Revenue Note for the

year 1964" and the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute and deliver
to the said Al Braun Company a tax antipation note with wording, con-
ditions and terms as follows:

FOR VALUE RECEIVED, the City of La Porte, a municipal
corporation, duly incorporated under the laws of the State of Texas,
acting by and through its Mayor, duly authorized by Resolution as
provided in Section 72 of the City Charter of the City of La Porte,
hereby promises to pay to the order of AL BRAUN d/b/a AL BRAUN
COl\t1PANY, at La Porte City Hall, in La Porte, Texas, the sum of '
TWO THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED EIGHTY-FOUR AND NO/lOO
DOLLARS ($2, 284. 00), without interest as follows:
The sum of SEVEN HUNDRED SIXTY-ONE AND 33/100
DOLLARS ($761. 33) payable on or before February 1, 1965.
The sum of ONE THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED TWENTY -TWO
AND 67/100 DOLLARS ($1,522.67) payable on or before June 30, 1965.
