<br />SQction One. That an election be, and the same is hereby order-
<br />ed to determine whether the City Council of tho City of ]',a Porte,
<br />shall sell and cause to be conveyed, for a consideration of Twe-
<br />Hundred ,.#/Hf$200.00)Dollars, and to such purchaser or purchasers
<br />as shall desire to purchase tho same, all the parts of Grand-view
<br />Avenue described as follows, to witi-
<br />All that part of Grand-view Avenue lying betweon Block 36 of
<br />Beach Park annex to the Town of J:'a Porte, and the St Mary's Semin-
<br />ary tract, the sameto have for its Northern houndary ti~ a lino
<br />drawn from the North-east corner of said Block 36, at right angles
<br />with, and across said Grand-view Avenue, to said St Mary'S Seminary
<br />tract;for its Southern boundary, a line drawn from the South-east
<br />corner of said Block 36 of Beach Park Annex, at right angles with,
<br />and across said Grand-vieVl Avenue to the said St 1~ary' s ~eminary
<br />tracti and for its Eastern and Western boundaries, the Eastern and
<br />Western lines 01 said Granaview Avenue, within said limits.

<br />Section Two: ~aid election shall be held on Thursday, the 3rd
<br />4ay of February 1916, and in accordance with the general election
<br />(1'1 1aws of the State, as applied to Cities, and notice thereof shall
<br />\. , be given by the 1'~ayor at least Thirty (30) days prior thereto.

<br />, Section Three: The form of the ballot for such election shall
<br />be:- "~or the sale of that part of Grand-view Avenue lying between
<br />Bloclc 36, of Beach Park Annex to tho Town of La Porte, and/' ~t
<br />Mary'S Seminary grounds:" and "Against the sale of that part of
<br />Grand-view Avenue lying between Bloclc 36, of Beach Park annex to
<br />the Town of J~ Porte, and St Mary's Seminary grounds."

<br />Soction ~our: That there exists a public emergehcy and nece.
<br />sity, requiring that this ordinance shall be passed finally on the
