FUNDS OF THE CITY; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES AND I <br />, <br />I <br />PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH AND DECLARI.NG AN EVIERGENCt. <br /> <br />, <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LA i <br />PORTE, HARRIS COUNTY, TEXAS: <br /> <br />Section 1. That the three aldermen to be elected at, <br />the general election to be held in April, 1947, shall receive, as <br />their compensation during their term of office, the sum of Five <br />Dollars ($5.00) each for each regular meeting of the City Council <br /> <br />Ii <br />of said Cit1, not to exceed two such meetings per month. <br />Section 2.
