r + <br />• <br />ORDINANCE N0. fir/ <br />AN ORDINANCE PRESCRIBING THE COMPENSATION TO BE RECEIVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMM <br />SIGNERS DURING THEIR TERMS OF OFFICE AND PROVIDING FOR SUCH COMPENSATION TO BE <br />PAID IN MONTHLY INSTALLMENTS. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LA PORTE, TEXAS, THAT: <br />Section 1. The Mayor of the City of La Porte shall receive, as his <br />compensation, during his present term of office, the sum of Twelve Hundred Dol- <br />lays ($1200.00) per year. Such compensation shall be paid to the Mayor in month- <br />ly installments in the sum of One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) each. <br />Section 2. Each Commissioner of the City of La Porte shall receive, <br />CJ <br />as his compensation, during his term of office, the sum of Six Hundred Dollars <br />($600.00) per year. Such compensation shall be paid to each Commissioner in <br />monthly installments. <br />Section 3. The Mayor and Commissioners shall be paid their respec- <br />tive compensation installments on the 1st day of each and every calendar month <br />during their terms of office. <br />Section 4. The money from which all of the compensation to be paid <br />to the Mayor and Commissioners, as herein prescribed, is hereby set aside and <br />appropriated for such purpose. <br />Section 5. All ordinances and resolutions, and parts of ordinances <br />• <br />and/or resolutions, heretofore passed by the Commission, which are in conflict <br />herewith, are hereby expressly repealed by this ordinance. <br />Section b.
