<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 86-23 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intent and desire of the City Council <br /> <br />of the City of La Porte to carry out the intent and purposes <br /> <br />of the City's published personnel policies in an equitable manner; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the legislative intent of the policies is to pro- <br /> <br />vide for equitable personnel practices for all City employees; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Charter of the City of La Porte empowers <br /> <br />City Council to set general policy thereby, directing the City <br /> <br />Manager to interpret and administer such policies; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF LA PORTE: <br /> <br />Section 1. The City Council of the City of La Porte re- <br /> <br />affirms the legislative intent of the published personnel <br /> <br />policies. <br /> <br />Section 2.
