<br />110 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 88-2 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of La Porte Police Department Personnel <br />often performs official duties requiring the use of unmarked <br />cars; and <br />WHEREAS, the unmarking of said cars is made at the <br />discretion of the City Council; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF LA PORTE, TEXAS <br /> <br />Section 1. That the vehicles used by La Porte Police <br />Department are exempt under V. C. S. 6701m-2 when used in the <br />performance of official duties. <br />Section 2. Be it further resolved that the City Council of <br />the City of La Porte requests the State Department of Highways <br />& Public Transportation to issue regular plates upon proper <br />application. <br />Section ~. Be it further resolved that the person <br />authorized to sign forms required for such registration <br />applications is the City Secretary of the City of La Porte. <br />Section 4.
