<br />i <br /> <br />.. <br /> <br />- <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2000-IDA-07-A <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION BY THE CITY OF LA PORTE OF <br />AN AMENDMENT TO AN I~~USTRIAL DISTRICT. .AGREEMENT WITH CHUSEI <br />(U.S.A.) INC., FOR THE TERM COMMENCING JANUARY 1, 2001, AND ENDING <br />DECEMBER 31, 2007; MAKING VARIOUS FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATING <br />TO THE SUBJECT; FINDING COMPLIANCE WITH THE OPEN MEETINGS LAW; AND <br />PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LA PORTE: <br /> <br />section 1. CHUSEI (U.S.A.) INC. has heretofore executed an <br /> <br />industrial district agreement with the City of La Porte, for the <br /> <br />term commencing January 1, 2001, and ending December 31, 2007, <br />which was approved by Ordinance No. 2000-IDA-07, passed and <br /> <br />approved by the City Council of the City of La Porte on June 26, <br /> <br />2000. <br /> <br />section 2. CHUSEI (U.S.A.) INC. has executed an amendment to <br />said industrial district agreement, a copy of which amendment is <br /> <br />attached hereto,. incorporated by reference herein and. made a part <br /> <br />hereof for all purposes. <br /> <br />section 3. The Mayor, the City Manager, the City Secretary, <br /> <br />and the City Attorney of the City of La Porte, be, and they are <br /> <br />hereby, authorized and empowered to execute and deliver on behalf <br /> <br />of tbe City of La Porte, the amended industrial district agreement <br /> <br />with CHUSEI (U.S.A.) INC. <br /> <br />Section 4. The City Council officially fin~s, determines, <br />recites, and declares that a sufficient written notice of the date, <br /> <br />hour, place and subject of this meeting of the City Council was <br />posted at a place convenient to ~he public at the City Hall of.the <br />ci ty for the time required by law preceding t;h.is meeting, as <br />required by the Open Meetings Law, Chapter 551, Texas Government <br />
