<br />THAT the undersigned, TEMPLE LUMBER COMPANY, a Texas

<br />corporation, of Harris County, Texas, acting herein by and

<br />through its duly authorized ag~nt and attorney in fact, D. G.
<br />McNAIR, hereinafter sometimes called "Grantor'l, for and in
<br />consideration of the sum of TEN DOLLARS ($10.00) cash, and other
<br />
<br />good and v.aluable consideration to said Grantor in hand paid by
<br />
<br />the CITY OF LAPORTE, a municipal corporation of Harris County,
<br />Texas, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, does by
<br />
<br />these presents BARGAIN, SELL, RELEASE, REMISE and FOREVER
<br />QUITCLAIM unto the said City of LaPorte, of Harris County, Texas,
<br />hereinafter sometimes called "Grantee II , all of the right, title
<br />and interest of said Grantor in and to the following described

<br />property situated in Harris County, Texas, to-wit:

<br />Lots Nos. Fifteen (15) to Twenty-eight (28), both
<br />inclusive, in Block No. Sixty-six (66), of Bay Front
<br />Addition to the City of LaPorte, Harris County, Texas.

<br />Grantee agrees to assume all valid taxes against this
<br />
<br />property and all taxes for which Grantor may be held liable by
<br />reason of its ownership of said property.

<br />TO HAVE AND TO HOLD said right, title and interest, in
<br />and to said property, together with all and singular the rights
<br />
<br />and appurtenances thereto in anywise belonging, unto said Grantee,
<br />its successors and assigns, forever, so that neither said Grantor
<br />
<br />nor its assigns, nor any person or persons, claiming under it,
<br />
<br />shall at any time hereafter have, claim or demand any right or
<br />title to the aforesaid property, or any part thereof.
