<br />AIRPORT ADVISORY HOARD <br />MINUTES <br />MAY 8, 1991 <br />1. The meeting was called to order at 6:08 P.M. by Chairman Larry Tucker. <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Chairman Larry Tucker, Vice-Chairman John Ladd, <br />Secretary Steve Gillett, Members Cliff Hyde and Larry Quinn <br />MEMBERS ABSENT: Members Deborah Rihn and Mike Miller <br />OTHERS PRESENT: Dr. Harvey, H & R Aviation; Tom Hellenberg, Gulf <br />Central; Walter Chartrand, Exxon; Paul Hickenbottom, Fire Marshall. <br />2. The minutes of the April 3, 1991 meeting were read. Motion was made by <br />John Ladd, seconded by Cliff Hyde to approve the minutes as presented. <br />Motion was unanimous. <br />3. Cliff Hyde introduced Walter Chartrand, Exxon Aviation Sales <br />Representative. Mr. Chartrand outlined current reegulations for <br />underground fuel storage tanks. He discussed the new regulations <br />regarding construction, monitoring, and liability. He then discussed <br />various combinations of above-ground systems. <br />Paul Hickenbottom discussed the fire code, and outlined the procedure <br />to modify the fire code. <br />Motion was made by Cliff Hyde, seconded by Larry Quinn, to direct the <br />Airport Manager to write a formal request for the Fire Code Review <br />Committee to examine the issues of fuel storage, and consider developing <br />requirements for above-ground fuel storage at the airport. <br />4. Motion was made to adjourn by John Ladd, seconded by Cliff Hyde.
