STATE OF TEXAS)( <br />COUNTY OF HARRIS )( <br />CITY OF LA PORTE ){ <br />ANIMAL SHELTER ADVISORY MINUTES <br />A regular meeting was held on October 25, 2022, and called to order at 6:00 p.m., at the La Porte <br />Police Department, 3001 North 23, d Street in La Porte, Texas. Members in attendance were <br />Animal Control Supervisor Clarence Anderson, and Committee Members Donna Medford D.V.M., <br />Brandon Lunsford and Chief of Police Steve Deardorff <br />Meeting Called to Order at 6:00pm. <br />1. Approval of the minutes from July 19, 2021. Motion was made by Donna Medford and <br />seconded by Steve Deardorff to approve the minutes from July, 19, 2022..Motion was <br />approved. <br />Update on the Animal Shelter Donation Account: Animal Control Supervisor Clarence <br />Anderson updated the committee of the statues of the Donation Account. <br />Presentation of Administrative/Statistical Reports by Animal Control Supervisor: <br />Animal Control Supervisor Clarence Anderson went over the Statistical Reports for the <br />Shelter. <br />4. Clarence Anderson went over the Weekly Sign Sponsorship Program. He advised that <br />there is three sponsors at this time. <br />5. Clarence Anderson gave an update on the Volunteer Program. <br />6. Clarence Anderson advised that the only items that needed to be purchased at this tine <br />was normal vaccines and microchips and that there were no extra expenses that the board <br />needed to approve. <br />7. Committee Comments. No comments were made. <br />Adjournment: Motion was made by Clarence Anderson and seconded by Donna <br />Medford, to adjourn.
