<br />Building Codes Appeals Board <br />Minutes of July 14,2005 <br /> <br />Members Present: Tom Campbell, Ken Schlather, Bruce Compton, John Elfstrom, Terry <br />Bunch <br /> <br />Members Absent: Franc Velez, Ron Holt <br /> <br />City StaITPresent: Chief Building Official Debbie Wilmore, Inspection Services Technician <br />Ramon Chavez (for oath of office only) <br /> <br />1. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Meeting called to order at 6: 10 P.M. by Chairman Tom Campbell. <br /> <br />2. ADMINISTER OATH OF OFFICE TO POSITION 2 MEMBER, TERRY BUNCH <br /> <br />Oath administered to Terry Bunch by Ramona Chavez. <br /> <br />3. CONSIDER APPROVING MINUTES FROM THE JUNE 02,2005 MEETING <br /> <br />Motion to approve the minutes of the June 2, 2005 meeting as submitted was made by <br />John Elfstrom. Second by Ken Schlather. Motion passed unanimously. <br /> <br />4. DISCUSS AND TAKE ACTION ON OPERATING A MEETING IN THE ABSENCE <br />OF THE CHAIRPERSON <br /> <br />Chairman Campbell asked the Board for comments regarding the procedure for operating <br />a meeting without a chairman, as incorporated into the proposed Rules of Procedure <br />included with their packet. <br /> <br />Following some discussion between members, Mr. Elfstrom made a motion to approve <br />the procedure as shown in the document included with their packet. Second was by <br />Bruce Compton. Motion passed unanimously. <br />
