Call to Order <br /> The meeting was called to order by Heather Weger at 2:31 pm <br /> Members Present: Heather Weger, Steve Valerius, Clark Askins, Michael Dolby, Aaron <br /> Corrales, Martha Gillett, Matt Daeumer, Juliane Graham <br /> Members Absent: None <br /> 2. Consider approval of minutes from September 8, 2011 meeting <br /> Martha made a motion to approve the minutes as presented, Matt seconded the <br /> motion, the motion carried. <br /> 3. Discussion or other action for 2011 -2012 Employee Medical Benefits <br /> The Committee discussed possible options for Employee Medical benefits to be <br /> effective January 1, 2012. Steve requested the cost of the Out of Network <br /> deductibles that Council did not pass to be presented to the Committee before <br /> making any further decisions, Matt concurred. The Committee also requested <br /> potential cost savings for the following options: (1) not making the PPO plan <br /> available to new employees, (2) having a new plan for new employees and (3) any <br /> ideas that McGriff may have for a two -tier system. <br /> 4. Administrative Reports <br /> Michael informed the group of the OPEB liability. <br /> 5. Board Comments — Matters appearing on the agenda; Recognition of community <br /> members, city employees, and upcoming events; Inquiry of staff regarding specific <br /> factual information or existing policy <br /> None <br /> 6.
