P. <br />Pfeiffer, with the following members present : Commissioners Brown, Stabs, <br />Osbuxn and Dunham absent, City Attorney Pitman, Supt. W.A. Arthur, ~d City <br />Clerk Wank G, Baker. <br />Also present were Mr, Marsh and Jim Holley (Press). <br />Minutes of the last regular and special meetings were read and approved. <br />Carried. <br />r.Rotion by Stabs, second by Brown, that Mr. M. N. Weir be employed to paint the <br />new City Ha11, <br />Carried. <br />L+2yor Pfeiffer asked that the bids on the fire hose be opened. The Secretary <br />opened the bid of Eureka `ire Hose, this being the only bid, Their b id v~ras <br />as follows <br />2000 ~ 2 ~11 I. D, Fire Hose @ X1.90 per foot ~ ~~.~ x.00.00 <br />6001 1z" I.D. )ii.re Hose @ X1.00 per foot ~ <br />notion by Stabs, second bar Brown, that the bid of Eureka `ire Hose be accepted, <br />delivery to be July 11, 1960. <br />Carried. <br />Mayor Pfeiffer asked Mr. Carlos ~nith to present the extras as presented by <br />Isfir, Victory on the bathhouse. <br />Motion by Stabs, second by Brown, that the City pay the Roberson (Inizite Company <br />the sum of $12,752,55, as Estimate No. 2. <br />Carried. <br />The gi estion of Mr, Leach having to stay in the garage apartment when he had <br />purchased a home at Sylvan Beach, was discussed as to extra pay, Commissioner <br />Stabs will cor_tact the Commissioners that are absent and report back, <br />IiQotion by Stabs, second by Brown, that Delbert ti~Talker be allowed 1 day extra <br />pay for hauling tiaater on his day off, to La Porte Terrace. <br />Carried. <br />'~, Motion by Stabs, second by Brown, that funds be allowed to send two men to factory <br />to drive back fire truck front Lansing, Michigan. <br /> <br />Carried. <br />
