Pfeiffer, <br />Commissioners Lois Compton, Russell Shepherd, <br />Tom Osburn, and W. A. Stabs, Jr. <br />MEMBERS OF THE COMM/SS/ON ABSENT: None <br />OTHER CITY OFFICIALS PRESENT: City Clerk Marilyn Kelley, <br />City Engineer H. Carlos Smith, Chief of Police <br />H. F. Freeman, Water Superintendent Lyman Cunningham, <br />Street Superintendent Clifford E1Cis. <br />PRESIDING: Mayor Pfeiffer <br />+ + + <br />1. Minutes of the ReguCar Meeting of June 7, 1965 <br />were adopted as written. <br />+ + + <br />2. Ulysses Todd appeared before the Commission protesting <br />Krebs Construction Company's building the apartment <br />project on the property adjacent to his home. <br />Commissioner Compton made a motion, seconded by <br />Corrmtssioner Stabs that the City Clerk write Krebs <br />asking that some action be taken by July 21. Mottos <br />carr t ed. <br />+ + + <br />3. Commissioner Osburn made a motion, seconded by <br />Commissioner Stabs, that the date of the next Regular <br />Meeting be changed from July 5 to July 12 at 7:OOP.M. <br />Motion carried. <br />+ + + <br />4. Chief of Police Freeman gave a report on a traffic <br />study of the tntersectton of S.H. 146 and Eighth <br />Street, made by the Texas Htghway Department. See <br />exhibit 1. Commissioner Stabs made a mottos, <br />seconded by Commissioner Osburn, that the City follow <br />the recommendation of the State and work closly with <br />them to correct the trafftc problem. Motion carried. <br />+ + + <br />
