Geo. Counts, C D~ Agee, L C Lawrence and J J Roark. <br />D~inutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. <br />The following bills were presented and ordered paid. <br />~Yorkman and Arthur,~2.50. Gordon Ellis, X23.83. Dueller Co. <br />X2.61. Workman and Arthur,~10.?5. Pfeiffer Elec. Co.,~-55.30. <br />Daily Sun,10.00. La, Porte Hdw. Co., X1.26. i~ilson Sta. and <br />Ptg. Co.~ 2.20. Hughes rotor Co. ~2.UQ. Houston Lighting and <br />Power Co. X128.48. Sou. Western ~11 Tel. Co., X25.10. <br />~V ~! Hunt,~5?.38. kunicipal Supplies, x.3.92. <br />Bg oration made by Ald. Counts and seconded by Ald. Agee the <br />council appro~red the payment to Herby Lyons and King the sum <br />of X1,480.00 due them on their contract for refinancing the <br />Cities Bonded indebtedness, as follows,1,000.©© demand <br />~iarrant and ~480.00,thirty dig antics sting warrant. These <br />amounts represent 1;~ of the t otal of 148,000.00 of Refunding <br />Bonds. <br />By motion of Ald. Counts which was seconded by Ald. Agee the <br />sewer committee was instructed to confer with DGr. Culpepper <br />as to the feasibility of lifting the motors in the Lift <br />plants out of the pit and install them at ground level. <br />byr a motion of Ald. Counts and second by Ald. Agee the council <br />adopted the graduated scale of penalties on delinquent takes <br />as provided by law. <br />Alderman Agee offered a motion which was seconded by Ald. Roark <br />that the city employ a certified accountant to audit the account$ <br />of the City for one gear dating from April 1-1934. Upon <br />Roll call the following results were obtained. <br />Ald. Counts ~• <br />Ald. ogee Yea. <br />Ald. Iewrence Yea. <br />Ald. Roark Yea. <br />Dhoti on carried. <br />Ald. Counts offered a motion which was seconded by Ald.
