Sou. '~'J ball <br />Tel. Co. >9 75. Houston Lighting and Power Co. ~~93 47. F R Boyle, <br />X50 00. F R Boyle,:'~:57 50. <br />Cit~T Sect y. read ~ letter from the La Porte Hdw. Co. <br />stating that they desired their contract for sewer connection <br />be cancelled upon colrpletion of the B F Howald connection. <br />Alderman Counts presented a motion which was seconded by Ald- <br />eri~ian Sandel that bids be asked for on future sewer connections. <br />Carried. <br />By a motion offered by Alderman Ruff and seconded by Alderman <br />Sharp, the Cit~T Sect y. was authorized to transfer .;,400 00 to <br />tr;e Ge3~era1 Fund from the '~~~Jater Fund as a loan so that obliga- <br />tiar~s of the General fund could be met. <br />~ Carried. <br />The bill of u'Jm Casteel for the di~;Ling of the ditch along B <br />st. was again presented. <br />By action of the council on a <br />seconded by Alderman Ruff the <br />Tzs. Casteel as soon as he had <br />B street from the rAilroad to <br />subject to a release from the <br />~~100 00 due them from ~;r. Cas' <br />motion from ~~lderruan Sharp and <br />Sacty. was authorized to pay <br />leveled off dirt in center of <br />12th. st. The payment was also <br />Sternberg Lredging Co. for <br />~ee1. <br />Carried . <br />An application fora permit to install plumbing in a building <br />at the corner of P,iain find Blackwell ave., made by F R Stroup <br />was denied by the plumbing inspector for the reason that they <br />had not installed a trap and vent in the line from the floor <br />drain to the line entering the septic tank. <br />By a motion by Alderman.
