RESOLUTION <br />WHEREAS, the City of La Porte has applied for or wishes to apply to the Office of the <br />Attorney General, (OAG) Crime Victim Services Division for the Victim Coordinator <br />and Liaison Grant (VCLG); the application will be filed under the Legal Name of <br />Applicant: City of La Porte� Unique Application Number: V0011-14-0016; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of La Porte has considered and supports the <br />Application filed or to be tiled with the Office of the Attorney General; and <br />WIIEREAS, the City of La Porte has designated or wishes to designate Corby <br />Alexander, City Manager, as the `-Authorized Official" who is given or has been given <br />the power to apply for, accept, reject, alter or terminate the Victim Coordinator and <br />Liaison Grant (VCLG) with the Office of the Attorney General (OAG), Crime Victim <br />Services Division as well as given the authority to sign all grant adjustment requests, <br />inventory reports, progress reports, and financial reports or any other official documents <br />related to the grant on behalf of the grantee; <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of La Porte City Council <br />approves submission of the application for the Victim Coordinator and Liaison Grant to <br />the Office of the Attorney General, Crime Victim Services Division as well as the <br />designation of the Authorized Official. <br />Signe <br />k,ouis R.
