J. <br />Pfeiffer, with the following members and city officials presents Cosamnissianers <br />Jas. S. Crate, Jr• and James E. Stewart, Supt. of Fhblic ~crl~s Raleigh P~win, <br />Wm. Manses, representing Myatt C. Hedrick, City Engineer, City ~-ttorney Jno• <br />S. aiibler, and City Clerk J. I~. Muldoon. <br />Minutes of the last meetings vrore read and apprared. <br />Judge R. H. Spenser of Shoreaorea additiaa appeared before the C~csmi3ssian and <br />asked them their' iatentiam. of annexing property in ~ eeotiaaa i.f the proposed <br />City Charter passed. He also requested a meeting for the people~ia"this area <br />with the City Caismis~sicm. The Ceemission advised him they would meet with <br />these people MonS~r, March 7th, at the School ~uditoriua, at.7s30 P. M• <br />The City Clerk read a letter from J• 0• Rollins, Fire Chief, in which he re- <br />quested the Cos~issian to grant an emtergency order for 1000' of 2~', and 500' <br />of 1 fire hose'. The Caennissiom ixstructed the City Clerk to notify Mr. <br />Rollins to appear before the Camsnissian at 1 s30 P. M• Saturday, Marsh 5th, <br />1~9 <br />The Cacmnissiari, also instructed the City Clerk to notifyr Mr. Ernest Brown to <br />meet with them an lurch 8, 191.9, for further dis cession of proposed bawd issue <br />and sale of revue baalde. <br />The Citg Commission instructed Mr. Jno. S. 8libler, City Attorney, to write <br />Joe Temnamt, Jr.; in oanneetion with securing permission to run drainage pipe <br />through a portion of his property on the bay. <br />Motion by Crate,~seoond by Stewart, authorizing the City Clerk to cauoel the <br />taxes Iran his records an descriptions and years reflected am Cancellation <br />Receipts Nos. 1 to 38, in.olusive. <br />Carried. <br />Motion by Crate,' second by Stewart, that the following Resolution be adopted: <br />RESCLIITICd~ ` <br />IYHFREAS, Nettie H. Moody has paid all of the City of. La Porte taxes and <br />court costs on Lets No. Five (5) and Six (6) in Block No. Fifty~ine (59) of <br />the Toraa~. of La Porte, rifiich property was conveyed to t2~e City by Sheriffts <br />Deed under Cause No. 107,528. <br />
