<br />Motion b~ Jones, second by Burgin, authorizing the City Clerk to issue a check
<br />to Niles Construction Companry, Inc., in the amovsrt of yp29.1,3, for repairing
<br />fire hydrant and cat,l t~; n~ blow hole in 6" x 6" CIT, on Sixth Street.
<br />Carried.
<br />The City Clerk read a letter to the Commission from the La Porte Volunteer
<br />Fire Department, i.n which they requested improvements made from Alley on "A~'
<br />Street, to Second Street. The Commission was in favor of this improvement
<br />if land avvners adjacent to this part of the street paid their pro-rata share.
<br />Lotion by Jones, second by Burgin, setting one hour parking limit on Second
<br />Street, from Main to '~A" Street.
<br />Carried.
<br />The City Clerk was instructed to obtain an agreement from Geo. Sharp, Sr., that
<br />on demand he would pay for curb sxid gutter adjacent to Lot 6, Block 38, La-
<br />Porte, at X1.50 per lineal foot, before commencing construction on curb and
<br />gutter on this street.
