• • <br />MINUTES ., REGULAR I~EEi'ING <br />LA PQ3TE CITY COA-II~ISSION - JAPIUARY 16th, 199 <br />7:00 P. r~. <br />Regular meeting of the City commission`was called to ord"er by Mayor H. P. <br />Pfeiffer, with the following members p"resent: Commissioners- Boyle, Brun, <br />Osborn and La~rler~ Supt. tiY.A.A~'thur, Special Counsel Jno.S. Kiibler, and <br />City Clerk Frank G. Baker. <br />Also present were Bill Cornelius Bernard Johnson, Dougla's Boyle, Bob <br />Mc Daniel, Jim Mousner (Press), Al Kohler and Chas, .Brown. <br />IuLi.nutes of the last meeting were read an3 approved, upon motion by Lawler, <br />second by Osborn. <br />Carried. <br />Motion by Osborn: second by Lati°rler~ that Orc~i.n.ance No. X62, be adopted as <br />read. The caption of such adopted ordinance reads as fo:~.lows: <br />AN ORDIl~?ANCE PRF.JSCRIBL'~tG RATES TO BE C~L4RGED ~ DISTRIB L'TION <br />AND SALE OF NATURAL G.A.S ?~'+T.CTHIN TIC CITY, AI~1,) REPEALIP~ ALL OTHII-t <br />ORDINANCES CR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT~tII~lITH. <br />' Carried. <br />Mr, Johnson of Bernard Johnson and Associates, presented his firmts ability <br />to hanc'1e the city of,La Porter s futwre expansion program. <br />Mr. Al Kohler also presented his firmts ability to handle the Cit;~ of <br />La Partets engineering needs. Mr. Kohler represents Hedrick & Stanley. <br />No action was taken with either firm. <br />Motion by Lawler, second by Browny that the Police Radio be moved to the <br />County Building, and the fire radio be left in present' location, after <br />the Mayor has iiwestigated the possibility of this being a w~kable <br />solution. <br />Carried. <br />Motion by Lawler second by C~sbarn~ that a truck loading zone be established <br />i~.front of James StewartTS warehouse on South 1~th Street, same to be <br />painted yellow'.. <br />Carried, <br />Motion by Osborn, second by Boyles that Robert (Bob) ~RYiite be appointed to <br />Zoning Board, to replace Lester Schima.. <br />Carried. <br />
