F. <br />Pfeiffer, with the following members present: Commissioners BroPrn, Osborn, <br />~3oyle ~ d Lawler, Supt. '~V.A.Asthur, Special Counsel Jno, S. Kiibler, and <br />City Clerk crank G. Baker. <br />Also present were Carlos Smith, ?V1rr. Hedrick, Al Koehl°r, Curtis I~gorris and <br />Doug Boyle, representing ~'dyatt C. Hedrick Engineering Co., and ?vlr. 4~rt <br />Janssen, <br />h~finutes of the last meeting were read and approved. <br />Carried, <br />A.2otion by Osborn, second by Lawler, to ratify action of T~~ayor Pfeiffer in <br />investing bond money as folla~rs: Out of Permanent Improvements General <br />Obligation Bonds: <br />X50,000.00 - Savings & Loan ' <br />197,836,22 - 91 Day U.S. Treasury Bills <br />195,296.33 - 1B2 Day U.S. Treasury Bills <br />Out of Park Bonds : <br />~1~9,~.57.50 - 91 Day U. S. Treasury Bills <br />Carried. <br />Carlos Smith presented the drainage and paving plans to the Commission. <br />,~~ <br />~~ROtion by Bro++vn, second by Osharn, that the City proceed with the authoriza- <br />tion of the Engineers to proceed with drainage plans outside of present <br />area of the proposed improvement program, fees not to exceed X2,500. These <br />additional surveys to fit into master plan. <br />Carried. <br />The accident between the City Police car and Jake Busaey, Baas discussed at <br />length. Attar~ney Kiibler will contact both compat~ys and report back to the <br />Commission. <br />I~4otion by Osborn, second by ~3rov~m, that Frank Adams be employed as ft4eter <br />Reader for the City of Lu Porte, as of November 1, 1959, at salary of X1.52 <br />per hour. <br />Cary°ied. <br />Motion by Osborn, second by Lawler, that the Fump and bell Supply Budget <br />account be reimbursed X2,067, to be transferred from the Special F1.md. <br />C arried, <br />
