<br />,~TINUTES - RFGUL~.R P4EETING <br />LA PORTE CITY CO1~~ZLSSION -AUGUST l~, 1961 <br />7:00 P, M. <br />Regular meeting of the City Commission was tailed to order by P".ayor Pro-Tem Tom <br />Osburn, with the following members present: Commissioners Dunham, Stabs, (Drown <br />absent due to work, Mayor Pfeiffer out of town), Supt, v:r. A.Arthur, Attorney C. <br />L, Pitman, and City Clerk Frank G. baker. <br />Also present were Mrs. 13rummerhop and ^ti.ke Cidrk (Press), and °~.r, Drummerhop. <br />Minutes of tiie last meeting v*ere read and approv ed, <br />Carried. <br />Commissioner Stabs discussed with the Commission the problem that existed bet•,nreen <br />the Fire Department and Poii.ce Department as for cammu_nicatior_s. <br />Motion by Stabs, second by Dunham, that Commissioner Stabs be autAiorized to pur- <br />chase aremote corLtrol unit for Police and Fire Departments, at a cost of approx- <br />imately ~250.OU or 5300.OU. <br />Carried, <br />Motion by Dunham, second by Stabs, that the resignation of Mr. P~.A.
