P. <br />Pfeiffer, Commissioner W. A. Stabs, Jr. <br />* ~ <br />MEMBERS OF COMMISSION ABSENT: Commissioners <br />Frank G. Baker; Russell Shepherd, and Tom W. Osburn. <br /> <br />OTHER CITY OFF/EIALS PRESENT: City CCerk Clovis <br />D. Mann. <br /> <br />PRESIDING: Mayor H. P. Pfeiffer. <br /> <br />• Meeting was called for PubCic Hearing in reference <br />to a request from Mr. S. D. Pilkinton, Pasadena, Texas, to <br />change Zoning Classification of Lots 93, 94, 95 and 96, Block 29, <br />Town of La Porte, from Class "C", Single Family Dwelling District <br />to Class "E" - Apartment Butldings, Duplexes and/or any other <br />Multiple Dwelling District. <br />The Mayor announced that the proceedings would be <br />taped for review by the Commission at a later date. A decision <br />would be made after the Commission had an opportunity to review <br />the tape and give the matter appropriate consideration. <br />The hearing was opened with Mr. S. D. Pilkinton, the <br />Petitioner, expCaintng that the purpose for his request for re- <br />zoning was to permit him to build two (2) duplexes with two (2) <br />family units each. He further stated that it was not his intention <br />to demoltsh the building now existing at the present time. <br />Among those present, the following persons registered <br />objections to the re-classification: <br />W. L. Brown <br />J. W. Headrick <br />John Woerner <br />H. A. Moore <br />Wm. J. Cooling <br />Mrs. Perry Dickerson <br />
