Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Jul;: 20, <br />1964, were read and approved after deletion of Section 11, <br />thereof in regard to charges for Water Tap when moving <br />a house from one location to another site; such proposed <br />changes requirin_q an amending ordinance. <br /> <br />3. Sealed bids on three thousand (3,000) lineal <br />feet of eight (8) inch Cement Asbestos Pipe were rPCeived <br />and opened in accordance with published notice. The follow- <br />ings bids were received: <br />Utility Supple Company, Houston $ 9.86 per ft. <br />Mabry Foundry Co., Beaumont 9.86 <br />Johns-Manville Sales, Houston 1.83 <br />Commissioner stabs made a motion, seconded <br />by Commisstoner Baker, that the bids be tabled to permit <br />study and checking against specifications.
