<br />MINUTES - REGULAR MEETING <br />of the <br />LA PORTS CITY COMM/SSION, LA FI~RTE, TEXAS <br />September 14, 1964 <br />7:00 p.m. <br />MEMBERS OF COM+1/SS/ON PRESENT: Mayor H. P. Pfeiffer, <br />Commissioners Frank Baker, Russell Shepherd, W. A. Stabs, Jr., <br />and Tom Osburn. <br />MEMBERS OF COMM/SS/ON ABSENT: None. <br />OTHER CITY OFFICIALS PRESENT: City Attorney C. L. <br />Pitman, City Engineer Carlos Smith, and City Clerk Clovis <br />D. Mann. <br />PRESIDING: Mayor H. P. Pfeiffer. <br /> <br />1. Minutes of the Regular Meeting of August 17, 1964 <br />and Special Meeting of August 31, 1964 were read and approved. <br />2z5 <br />* ~ <br /> <br />2. Bids received on 1965 Police Car, as per listed BIDS OPENED FOR <br />specifications, were opened and read. The following bids were 1965 POL/CE CAR - <br />received: (JAY MARKS BID LOW) <br />Jay Marks Chevrolet Company - ,~ 2,346.59 <br />Less Trade-in of ,~ 700.00, making total <br />Bid of ,~ 1,646.59. <br />Joe Camp Ford Motors - 2,334.00 <br />Less Trade-in of .~` 550.00, making to~a1 <br />Bid of ~ 1,784.00. <br />Commissioner Stabs made a motion, seconded by <br />Commissioner Baker, that the bid of Jay Marks Chevrolet Co., <br />in the amount of $ 1,646.59 be accepted as low bid, and that <br />Purchase Order be issued. Motion carried. <br /> <br />3. Proposed Ordinance No. 705, to be known as the <br />"Sub-Division Ordinance", was presented and read. Commissioner <br />Osburn made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Stabs, that Ord- <br />inance No. 705 be passed; such Ordinance to become effective <br />after the 10th day after the second of two (2) publications <br />of the caption. Motion carried. Caption as follows: <br />ORDINANCE N0. 705 <br />"SUB-DIVISION ORD." <br />• AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING RULES AND REGULATIONS GOVERNING THE <br />PLATTING OR REPLATTING OF LAND INTO SUBDIVISIONS IN THE CITY <br />
