<br />1. Call to Order
<br />
<br />The meeting was called to order by Mayor Norman Malone at 6:00 p.m.
<br />
<br />Members of City Council Present: Councilpersons Guy Sutherland, Chuck Engelken,
<br />Howard Ebow, Alton Porter, Peter Griffiths, James Warren, Charlie Young, Jerry Clarke,
<br />and Norman Malone

<br />John Armstrong, City Manager Robert Herrera, Assistant City Manager John Joerns, City

<br />2. Reverend Michael Bingham of Abundant Life Church delivered the invocation.

<br />3. Council considered approving the Minutes ofthe Regular Meeting, Public Hearing and
<br />the Workshop Meeting on March 18,2002.
<br />
<br />Motion was made by Councilperson Warren to approve the Minutes of the Regular
<br />Meeting. Public Hearing and the Workshop Meeting on March 18. 2002 as presented.
<br />Second by Councilperson Sutherland. The motion carried.

<br />Nays: None

<br />4. PETITIONS, REMONSTRANCES, COMMUNICATIONS, AND CITIZENS AND
<br />T AXP AYERS WISHING TO ADDRESS CITY COUNCIL
<br />
<br />Bill Scott of 1802 Lomax School Road of La Porte, Texas, addressed questioning the
<br />City Council three times, in writing, for a written answer as to whether the feedlot next to
<br />their home is limited or unlimited on the number of animals.
