Pfeiffer, Commissioners <br />H. Gould Crofoot, Lois J. Compton, Charles D. Boyle, and Bobby <br />J. Burgin. <br />MEMBERS CF THE CO,r~M/SS/ON ABSENT: None <br />OTHER CITY OFF/C/ALS PRESENT: City Clerk Marilyn Kelley, City Engineer <br />H. Carlos Smith, City Attorney Knox W. Askins, Chief of Police <br />H. F. Freeman, and Superintendent of Streets Clifford Ellis. <br />PRESIDING: Mayor Pfeiffer. <br />+ + + <br />7. The minutes of the regular meeting of June 3, 9968 were amended <br />as follows: <br />ltem No. 7 - To Read -"Co,mmi_,sioner Compton made a motion, <br />seconded by Commissioner Crofoot, that the Tax Assessor and Board <br />of Equalization be instructed to place the property on the tax <br />roll at a ratio of assessment of 80i~ of actual value, instead <br />of 42%. Motion carried." <br />+ + + <br />The minutes of the special meeting of June 93, 9968 were approved <br />as written. <br />+ + + <br />2. Mr. Bernard A. McLoughlin, St. Marys Parish Council, presented <br />a proposal for the relocation of the fire hydrant on Grandview <br />Avenue. (See Exhibit No. 9). Church's expense $200.00. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Boyle, and seconded by Commissioner <br />Crofoot, that the Commisston accept the proposal for the relocation <br />for the fire hydrant, and consider the installation of another <br />fire hydrant near the intersection of Leona and Circle Drive, <br />and abandon the water line thru the church property, from Park Avenue <br />to Grandview Avenue. Motion carried. <br />+ + + <br />~. Commissioner Burgin made a motion, seconded by Commissioner <br />Commpton, that the City Accept the donation of Lot 25, Block 84, <br />Town of La Porte, from Mrs. Roger A. Beane. Motion carried. <br />+ + + <br />
