• <br />MINUTES - SPECIAL MEETING <br />OF THE <br />LA PORTS CITY COMM/SS/ON, LA PORTS, TEXAS <br />January 13, 1969 <br />MEMBERS OF THE COMMISSION PRESENT: Mayor H. P. Pfeiffer, Corrmissioners <br />Bobby J. Burgin, Charles D. Boyle, H. G. Crofoot, and Lois J. <br />Compton. <br />MEMBERS OF THE COMMISSION ABSENT: None <br />OTHER CITY CFFICIALS PRESENT: City Attorney Knox W. Ask ins, and City <br />Clerk Marilyn Kelley. <br />PRESIDING: Mayor Pfeiffer. <br />+ + + <br />1. Commissioner Boyle made a motion, seconded by Comrnisstoner <br />Burgin and carried, that Ordtnance No. 811 be passed on first <br />and final reading. <br />CAPTION: <br />AN ORDINANCE TO PROTECT THE PUBLIC HEALTH AND PROMOTE THE <br />PUBLIC WELFARE OF THE CITY OF LA PORTS, TEXAS, BY REGULATING <br />MOBILE HQME PARKING AND MOBILE HOME PARKS IN THE CITY OF <br />LA PORTS, TEXAS; PROVIDING FOR MOBILE HOME PARK PERMITS, ANNUAL <br />LICENSE AND ANNUAL LICENSE FEE, AND MONTHLY RESIDENT SERVICES <br />FEES; PROVIDING TECHNICAL, PHYSICAL, :ND OPERATING REQUIREMENTS <br />FOR MOBILE HQME PARKS; PROVIDING THAT ANY PERSON VIOLATING THE <br />TERMS OF THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BE DEEMED GUILTY OF A M,ISDENEANOR <br />AND UFbN CONVICTION SHALL BE FINED IN ANY SUM NOT LESS THAN <br />TWENTY-FIVE DOLLARS (,25.00) NOR MORE THAN TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS <br />(200.00) AND EACH DAY OF VIOLATION SHALL BE DEEMED A SEPARATE <br />OFFENSE; CO,ti'TA/N/NG A REPEALING AND A SAVING CLAUSE; AND <br />PROVIDING THE EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF. <br />+ + + <br />2.
