• <br />• MINUTES - REGULAR MEETING <br />OF THE <br />LA PORTE CITY COMMISSION, LA PORTE, TEXAS <br />MARCH 19, 1973 <br />7:00 P.M. <br />MEMBERS OF THE COMMISSION PRESENT: Mayor E. A. Thomas, <br />Commissioners C. D. Christensen, I. J. Kibodeaux, and <br />C. D. Boyle. <br />MEMBERS OF THE COMMISSION ABSENT: Commissioner G. E. Sampson. <br />OTHER CITY OFFICIALS PRESENT: Larry L. Broussard, Director <br />of Finance; Virginia Cline, City Clerk; Knox Askins, City <br />• Attorney; Robert Cline, Director of Public Works; H. F. <br />Freeman, Chief of Police and Jack Oliphant, Fire Chief. <br />PRESIDING: Mayor Thomas. <br />+ + + <br />Invocation was offered by Commissioner Christensen. <br />1. Mayor Thomas asked if there was anyone present <br />wishing to submit bids on the Park Projects, and <br />there being none, declared the bids closed. <br />Mr. James P. Hutchison, Vice-President of Busch, <br />Hutchison & Associates, read the bids received <br />for tabulation on the Park Projects. <br />Bids called for <br />on Parks Project <br />Motion by Comm. Kibodeaux, seconded by Comm. Approval to <br />Christensen to accept the bids received for accept bids <br />fencing the Mini-Bike Park for tabulation, for tabulation <br />a copy of the tabulation is attached to and made on Mini-Bike pk. <br />a part of these minutes. Motion carried by <br />• <br />
