• • <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF LA PORTE CITY COUNCIL <br />MARCH 25, 1991 <br />1. The meeting was called to order by Mayor Malone at 6:00 P.M. <br />Members of Citv Council Present: Mayor Norman Malone, <br />Councilperson Guy Sutherland, Mike Cooper, Ed Matuszak, Bob <br />McLaughlin, Alton Porter, Deotis Gay, B. Don Skelton, Jerry <br />Clarke <br />Members of Citv Council Absent: <br />Members of Citv Staff Present: City Manager Bob Herrera, City <br />Attorney Knox Askins, Assistant to the City Secretary Sue <br />Lenes, Finance Director Jeff Litchfield, Parks Maintenance <br />Superintendent Bert Clark <br />Others Present: David Fetzer, Pete Fisher, Moroney, Beissner <br />& Co., Inc.; Jerry McManus, Frank Fogarty, Ryan Walsh, Inc.; <br />Bud Giesinger, Don Adam, K.P.M.G. Pete Marwick <br />2. The invocation was given by Mayor Malone. <br />3. Council considered approving minutes of the regular meeting <br />of Council held March 25, 1991. <br />Motion was made by Councilperson Skelton to approve the March <br />11 minutes as presented. Second by Councilperson Cooper. The <br />motion carried, 8 ayes, 0 nays, and 1 abstain. <br />Ayes: Councilpersons Sutherland, Cooper, Matuszak, <br />McLaughlin, Porter, Skelton, Clarke and Mayor Malone <br />Nays: None <br />Abstain: Councilperson Gay <br />4. There were no citizens wishing to address Council. <br />Councilperson Gay recommended that Item it should be moved <br />forward on the Agenda. Mayor and Council were in agreement. <br />
