<br />.. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />.r.. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. <br /> <br />885 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE RETAIL SALE OF FLAMMABLE LIQUIDS <br />FROM MOBILE SERVICE UNITS TO MOTOR VEHICLES PARKED ON OFF-STREET <br />PARKING FACILITIES; PROVIDING THAT ANY PERSON VIOLATING THE TERMS <br />OF' THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BE DEEMED GUILTY OF A MISDEMEANOR, AND <br />UPON CONVICTION SHALL BE FINED IN ANY SUM NOT EXCEEDING TWO <br />HUNDRED DOLLARS ($200.00); AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE <br />HEREOF. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LA PORTE: <br /> <br />Section 1. The term "mobile service unit" as used in this <br /> <br />Ordinance, shall mean any vehicle, tank truck, or other mobile <br /> <br />device from which flammable liquids used as motor fuels may, as <br /> <br />an act of retail sale, be dispensed into~ the fuel tanks of <br /> <br />motor vehicles parked on off-street parking facilities. <br /> <br />Section 2. The retail sale of flammable liquids into the <br /> <br />fuel tanks of motor vehicles parked on off-street parking <br /> <br />facilities, from mobile service units, is hereby prohibited. <br /> <br />Section 3. Any person, firm, partnership, corporation, <br /> <br />or association, violating any provision of this Ordinancer <br /> <br />shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction <br /> <br />shall be fined in any sum not to exceed Two Hundred Dollars <br /> <br />($200.00). <br /> <br />Section 4.
