<br />. <br /> <br />.. <br /> <br />e. <br /> <br />.. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1020 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE MAKING APPROPRIATIONS FOR SUPPORT OF THE GOVERNMENT <br />OF THE CITY OF LA PORTE, TEXAS, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING <br />OCTOBER 1, 1975 AND ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 1976, AND LEVYING A TAX <br />OF $ .92 ON EACH $100.00 OF ASSESSED VALUE OF ALL REAL AND PER- <br />SONAL PROPERTY LOCATED WITHIN SAID CITY. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LA PORTE, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />Section 1. For the purpose of providing a budget for the <br />fiscal year beginning October 1, 1975 and ending September 30, <br /> <br />1976, an Ad Valorem Tax of $ .92 on each $100.00 of assessed <br /> <br />value of all real and personal property located within the City <br />of La Porte is hereby levied and such tax shall be collected <br />under and by the authority of this City and of the State of Texas, <br /> <br />and the sums set forth below be and the same are hereby appro- <br /> <br />priated for the maintenance, operation and improvement of the <br /> <br />Government of the City of La Porte, and the same shall be strictly <br />applied for the several purposes and in the respective amounts <br /> <br />hereinafter specified. <br /> <br />Section 2. That the amounts appropriated and the purposes <br />for which "the same shall be spent be as follows: <br /> <br />Administration <br />Airport <br />Civil Defense <br />Fire Department <br />Inspections & Permits <br />Municipal Court <br />Parks & Recreation <br />Police <br />Sanitation <br />Streets & Alleys <br />Shop~Motor Pool-Whse. <br />Fire Marsha1 <br />Special Items <br />Bond :Retirement <br /> <br />214,704.00 <br />18,075.50 <br />1,000.00 <br />125,320.00 <br />26,250.00 <br />20,730.00 <br />91,420.00 <br />351,874.00 <br />155,540.00 <br />307,790.00 <br />171,840.00 <br />15,630.00 <br />323,534.50 <br />184,295.00 <br /> <br />$2,008,003.00 <br /> <br />TOTAI, <br /> <br />i; <br /> <br />Section 3.
