<br />. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />:.. <br /> <br />, <br />'. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />CITY OF LA PORTE <br />RESOLUTION NO. 67- ~I <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of La Porte <br />has heretofore constructed, and is now the owner and operator <br />of, the City of La Porte Municipal Airport, which is immediately <br />adjacent and contiguous to those certain tracts of land identified <br />as Parcels "A" through "M", both inclusive, on those certain <br />exhibits attached hereto, incorporated herein by reference, and <br />made a part hereof for all purposes, and which are more particu- <br />larly defined and described by metes and bounds hereafter; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of La Porte <br />has, and does hereby, find that public necessity requires the <br />acquisition of aerial nav~gation easements above each of said <br />parcels, with the exceptions of Parcels "G" and "K"; and <br />WHEREAS, it is further deemed necessary that each of <br />said parcels, with the exceptions of said Parcels "G" and "K", <br />be and remain free and clear of any structure, tree, or other <br />object which is or would constitute an obstruction or hazard to <br />the fl~ght of aircraft in landi~g and taki~g off at the said <br />Airport, which said clear zone approach areas are more particularly <br />described hereinafter; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of La Porte <br />has, and does hereby, find and deter.mine that such aerial naviga- <br />tion easements shall prohibit the erection or growth of any <br />structure, tree, or other object within that portion of each of <br />said parcels, with the exception of said Parcels "G" and "K", <br />which said parcels lie within the clear zone approach areas of <br />the N.W.-S.E. runway and the N.E.-S.W. runway (each of which <br />runways is identified on :E:xhibit "A" property map, Sheet No.1, <br />
