e . ORDINANCE NO. 780-G . AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 780, THE CITY OF LA PORTE ZONING ORDINANCE, PASSED AND APPROVED ON FEBRUARY,S, 1968, AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LA PORTE: Section 1. The City Commission of the City of La Porte and the City of La Porte Planni~g and Zoning Commission have hereto- fore called, and have held, a Joint Public Hearing on August 17, 1970, to consider amendi~g the City of La Porte Zoning Ordinance, Ordinance No. 780, so that Section 13-201, Sub-paragraph (2), shall hereafter read as follows, to-wit: "(2) Duplexes, upon petition of the property owner and after notice and public hearing thereon as . provided in Article Seventeen hereof." Section 2. Following such Joint Public Hearing, the City Planning and Zoning Commission has met in executive session, and has issued its final report, which is attached hereto as Exhibit A, incorporated by reference herein, and made a part hereof for all purposes, finally recommendi~g such amend- ment to Ordinance No. 780. Section 3. Section 13-201, Sub-par~graph (2), is hereby amended, and shall hereafter read as follows, to-wit: "SECTION 13-200 'R-l' SINGLE-FAMILY DWELLING AND DUPLEX DISTRICT REGULATIONS e "13-201 (2) Duplexes, upon petition of the property owner and after notice and public hearing thereon as provided in Article Seventeen hereof."
