Ruff, sesond by Ald. Agee that the letter and paper frost the <br />Daily Court ReTierr be placed on file. Carried . <br />Tax Notion by A1d. Agee, second by Ald. Foyle, that the City Secretary be auth- <br />Boot prized to purchase the boot on Texas Tax questions published by Jno.T. Ssdth <br />of Austin, Texas. Carried. <br />Lots 1.~7dc lotion by Boylo, sesond by Ruff, that the City renew its propositiaa of <br />l~B,Blle ~~ Atril 27,1936 in which the City offered 36r Otto I~Lal a gdit dais deed <br />Layfront on Lots 47 and l~8, Bloch 2I~, Bay !'runt Addition to La Ports, for the <br />~l mount of taxes due plus the aawunt of suit Bost and that the City Ses- <br />retary figure the amount of taxes due to June 30,1937, add the amount of <br />suit Bost, sa~aelT ~jl~.•l~., and writs l4r FL~al that the resulting amount will is <br />be the amount required by the City to release its interest in the lots. <br />That the City Secretary further adTise l[r FLal that the City has sold its <br />interest in Lots 15 to 18 , Bloat 2l~, Fay r`rant Addition to La Ports and <br />tkat the City desires to heap its interest in Lots 1, and 2, Blos~ 2~., Bay- <br />Front Addition to La Porte. Carried. <br />Taxes Motion by Boyle, second by Ruff, that the City Secretary be instruoted to <br />y'-illigaa Fite lir C.Y. Milligan that since all of the property ad3oining his pro- <br />~rertT in Bloc1` lF22, La Porte is assessed at the sea.e ra.luation as Bloolx <br />h22, La Porte the City will be unable to grant his request to reduce the <br />assessed *aluatioa of his property.
