Pfeiffer, Commissioners <br />W. A. Stabs, Jr., Tom W. Osborn, Russell Shepherd, and Lois <br />J. Compfon. <br />MEMBERS OF C0~1/SS/ON ABSENT: None <br />OTHER CITY OFFICIALS PRESENT: City Attorney Knox Askins, City <br />Engineer H. Carlos Smith, and City Clerk Marilyn Kelley. <br />PRESIDING: Mayor' Pfeiffer. <br />+ + + <br />1. A motion was made by Commissioner Shepherd, seconded by <br />Commtssioner Osborn that the minutes of the regular meeting <br />of February 7, 1966, and special meeting of February 9, 1966, <br />be approved as written. Motion carried. <br />+ + + <br />2. Bids were received for the construction of water and sewer <br />improvements. (See Exhitiif #1) Bids were tabled for <br />tabuCation. <br />+ + + <br />3. Commissioner Osborn made a motion, seconded by Commissioner <br />Shepherd that John Kiibler, Jr. be authorized to prepare and <br />enter into Industrial contracts with Columbta Carbon, Greif <br />Brothers and Olmstead Machine Forks. Motion carried. <br />+ + + <br />4. A motion was made by Commissioner Stabs, seconded by <br />Commissioner Osborn and carried that Ordinance No. 740 be <br />passed and approved on first and final reading. <br />CAPTION: <br />AN ORDINANCE APPOINTING A BOARD OF EQUALIZATION COMPOSED <br />OF THREE MEMBERS; SETTING THE DATE OF ITS FIRST MEETING; <br />AND PRESCRIBING THE POSERS AND DUTIES; AND DECLARING AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />+ + + <br />• <br /> <br /> <br />
