s ~ <br />MINUTES OF THE CALLED REGULAR MEETING <br />LA PORTE CITY COUNCIL <br />JULY 6, 1987 <br />1. The meeting was called to order by Mayor Malone at 6:30 P.M. <br />Members of City Council Present: Mayor Norman Malone, <br />Councilpersons Betty Waters, John Lloyd, Alton Porter, Mike <br />Shipp, B. Don Skelton, Jerry Clarke <br />Members of City Council Absent: Councilpersons Ed Matuszak, <br />Deotis Gay <br />Members of City Staff Present: City Manager Bob Herrera, <br />City Attorney Knox Askins, City Secretary Cherie Black, <br />Assistant City Manager John Joerns, Assistant to the City <br />Manager Janie Luna, Police Chief Charles Smith, Director of <br />Public Works Steve Gillett, Finance Manager Robert Stewart, <br />Revenue Controller Charlene Eldridge <br />Others Present: Gary Miglico and Neil Bishkin, Peat Marwick; <br />Lewis McClain, Lewis McClain & Associates; Melissa Doyle, <br />Bayshore Sun; 6 citizens. <br />2. Council considered approving Change Order ~~6 for the Fairmont <br />Parkway Relief Sanitary Sewer project. <br />Motion was made by Councilnerson Skelton to a~nrove Change <br />Order ~~6 for the Fairmont Parkway Relief Sanitary Sewer <br />project in the amount of $24716.08. Second by Councilperson <br />Porter. The motion carried, 7 ayes and 0 nays. <br />Ayes: Councilpersons Waters, Lloyd, Porter, Shipp, Skelton, <br />Clarke and Mayor Malone <br />Nays: None <br />3.
