MINUTES OF THE JOINT PUBLIC HEARING WITH THE RE -DISTRICTING <br />COMMITTEE AND REGULAR MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />AUGUST 12, 1991 <br />1. The meeting was called to order by Mayor Malone at 6:00 P.M <br />Members of City Council Present: Mayor Norman Malone, <br />Councilpersons Guy Sutherland; Mike Cooper, Bob Thrower, Bob <br />McLaughlin, Alton Porter, Deotis Gay, B. Don Skelton, Jerry <br />Clarke <br />Members of City Council Absent: None <br />Members of City Staff Present: Assistant City Manager John <br />Joerns, City Attorney Knox Askins, Assistant to the City <br />Secretary Sue Lenes, Human Resources Manager/Purchasing <br />Manager Louis Rigby, Finance Director Jeff Litchfield, <br />Assistant Public Works Director Buddy Jacobs, Fire Chief Joe <br />Sease, Police Lt. Tom Neely, Director of Community Development <br />Joel Albrecht, Golf Pro/Manager Alex Osmond <br />Members of Re -Districting Committee Present: Chairman H. The Invocation was given by Councilperson Alton Porter. <br />3. Council considered approving the minutes of the regular <br />meeting of Council held July 22, 1991. <br />Motion was made by Councilnerson Skelton to approve the Jul <br />22 minutes as presented. Seconded by Councilperson <br />McLaughlin. The motion carried, 9 ayes and 0 nays. <br />Ayes: Councilpersons Sutherland, Cooper, Thrower, <br />McLaughlin, Porter, Gay, Skelton, Clarke and Mayor <br />Malone <br />Nays: None <br />
