MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING AND PUBLIC HEARING OF THE LA PORTE CITY COUNCIL May 10, 2010 1. The Invocation was given by Reverend Dan Chappell of Fairmont Park Church. 3. Councilman Mike Clausen led the Pledge of Allegiance. 4. Presentations/Proclamations A. Mayor Beasley presented the "Motorcycle Safety and Awareness Month" proclamation to several citizens in attendance. B. Finance Director Michael Dolby and his staff were presented with The 2008 Certificate of Achievement for Financial Reporting, the 2009 Distinguished Budget Award, and the Certificate of Distinction for Investment Policy.
